Calculation Methods #
The [dephoro] Marketplace provides merchants with 3 different shipping calculation methods.
Table Rate: Table Rate shipping allows you to fine-tune shipping costs according to certain variables, like product cost and/or product weight. You can set multiple filters which span across multiple shipping classes, making this method rather tedious to implement but much more accurate (in terms of shipping costs) than Flat Rate.
Free Shipping: Free Shipping is fairly self-explanatory; if you do not wish to charge a shipping fee on certain products, you could use this method to achieve that. As an alternative, you can just set the costs for the other methods to 0 and simply name them “Free Shipping” so this method is rather redundant. But available all the same.
